Medical Business Advocacy Manager
As the Medical Business Advocacy Manager for the KMA, Lindy Lady provides her expertise on professional practice issues to KMA members, physicians, and other organizations.
Lindy started her career with Metropolitan Life Insurance Company and has more than 35 years of Medicare operations experience, most recently as a Provider Outreach and Education Consultant with National Government Services (NGS).
A Certified Professional Coder and a Certified Professional Compliance Officer through the American Academy of Professional Coders and a member of the American Academy of Professional Coders; she is a frequent speaker at association events often discussing Medicare and Medicaid.
With the passage of the Affordable Care Act and other federal legislation, the medical marketplace has changed dramatically in the United States. During today’s session we will discuss the Kentucky Health Benefit Exchange and provide a 2014 update.
